At MBS Holistic Wellness, we take a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy that supports the whole person. We integrate traditional therapeutic modalities with mindfulness, self-care, and wellness practices to promote long-term healing and personal growth. We believe that true mental health involves not just addressing symptoms, but fostering a balanced, thriving lifestyle that incorporates physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

Position: Resident in Counseling / MSW 

Location: Virginia

Hours: 10-20 Weekly

Compensation: $30-$40

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy with a holistic, client-centered approach.

  • Collaborate with clients on creating goals.

  • Conduct assessments and develop integrative treatment plans that reflect a holistic framework.

  • Participate in clinical meetings focused on clinical development, self-care, and ethical decision-making.

  • Attend team meetings, workshops, and continuing education on mental health.

  • Maintain client records in compliance with HIPAA and professional ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Must have completed an accredited master’s program in Counseling and Social Work (MSW).

  • Eligible to begin or continue clinical residency hours in Virginia.

  • Passion for working with clients from a holistic perspective (mind, body, and spirit).

  • Familiarity with mindfulness practices, yoga, meditation, or other wellness modalities is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills.

  • Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and cultural competence.

  • Openness to personal growth, self-care practices, open to feedback on ethical, clinical and holistic practices. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
